United We Stand. Divided ..... we're fucked.
November 7.

Its close and drawing closer.

The races in which our guys were favored, they're drawing closer too. The polls that once favored us have drawn tighter. Imagine a Republican Senator from Maryland. Imagine a near-Neocon Self-selected 3rd Party Candidate from Connecticut. Imagine a Republican Senator from New Jersey. Imagine a Republican Amway Grifter as governor of Michigan. Imagine another pretty Republican face as governor of Massachussetts, and so many more.

Imagine another six years with Dog Sex Ricky, fer krissakes.

Together, people.

Its the only way.

MASSIVE togetherness.

Work your asses off and sing Kumbaya. You can rest - or weep - on November 8.

2. We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately ...
as long as we are hanging cool quotations on this.

8. "A republic, if you can keep it"
That's the quote from Benjamin Franklin that keeps running through my mind as the Republicans have stolen more and more power over the last few years:
At the close of the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia on September 18, 1787, a Mrs. Powel anxiously awaited the results, and as Benjamin Franklin emerged from the long task now finished, asked him directly: "Well Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?"

"A republic, if you can keep it," responded Franklin.

6. Good post. This time, if we pull together, we can
deliver some serious hurt against the GOP in races across the country. Even many so-called Red States are potentially up for grabs as far as both their Congressional delegations and the statehouses themselves.

9. Ya mean like a guy from Mississippi sending a few bucks
to the Dem running for Senate in Pennsylvania?

I imagine a democrat as senator of Mississippi but it ain't gonna happen so my money goes elsewhere. Casey ain't my ideal candidate but more importantly he ain't santorum.

10. Amen! Boss
That's what I'm talking about. Nationally localizing the Dem candidates.

12. Democrats will retain Sarbanes seat and Menendez will retain...
his seat seat too. The Democrats will take the Governorship of Massachussetts. I am worried about Michigan and California.

13. I think California's lost
From what I hear, Ahnuld's got the big mo and Angelides is, essentially, a no-show.

14. It's quite sad. Cali is a blue state and Arnold is a mediocre Gov.
