THEY SHOT THE WRONG LINCOLN
August 31, 2006

In addition to supporting Democrat Joe Lieberman over Republican Alan Schlesinger in Connecticut, President Bush is supporting the Democrat over the Republican in Rhode Island, too. In the Republican primary, Bush supports Lincoln Chafee — who votes with Bush on the important issues less often than Sen. Lieberman does — over the only actual Republican in the race, Stephen Laffey.

Lanny J. Davis wrote an op-ed for the Wall Street Journal which took anonymous comments from "The Daily Kos" out-of-context to prove that people against Joe Lieberman are full of hate.

Lanny J. Davis' column was echoed by Bill O'Reilly and Nat Hentoff and Cal Thomas.

Any similar crticism of people against Lincoln Chaffey?

3. Well, it's a STUPID construct from a hate filled gasbag
"THEY" shot the wrong Lincoln...I mean, really. Is that a goofball concept or what? "THEY" didn't shoot Lincoln, a pissed off stars-n-bars waving actor named Booth shot him.

And if Annorexia "Cigarettes and Chardonnay" Coulter desired for the event to occur again, she'd have to drag out her time machine and go get that actor with his little gun to come along and shoot the "right" Lincoln.

Further, if "they" shot the "wrong" Lincoln, and she were able to correct this with her Coultergeist Time Machine, then Abe wouldn't have been mortally wounded, and could have given us a review of the play after it was over, and the course of the nation post-civil war might have changed. Perhaps two of her ancestors never would have met, and then we'd not have to deal with her.

She's an idiot. Even the shark that she's jumped is begging "Enough already, ya stupid shrew!"

5. Hey lighten up it's a joke
Just like y'know, poisoning a Supreme Court Justice and blowing up the NY Times building. This thing has some real issues with death. Plus it has to keep raising the bar on outrageousness just to keep itself visible to its book buying public. It can't back off because its fans expect more of this vile vomit from its mouth and pen.

6. One of the questions asked as a barometer for mental stability...
"Are you having any thoughts about hurting (read: killing, in many cases) yourself or other people?"
If the answer is "Yes" to either category, then the red flags go up, and something is done to try to halt things right there.

Maybe I'm just stupid, but it seems to me that a person who goes about advocating the poisoning, shooting, and blowing up buildings* (hey, that's killing, isn't it?) of people she doesn't like might be just a wee bit unstable and not permitted to run loose?
Certainly she shouldn't be idolized and rewarded for this behavior.

Even if she IS just doing this as an attention-getting tactic and has no actual intent to cause harm, she has a significant following of mindless, koolaid sodden, blank-faced, glassy-eyed, zombie-ass idiots fans who would probably cut off their own dicks...if she said that doing so would piss off the LIEbruls.

There IS such a thing as social responsibilty...even if one IS a Republican.

* Hey, wait a minute. Judging by what all has been 'prevented', those are terrorist activities...and they didn't even have to be 'planted' by a sting operation. How come the NSA isn't busting HER skanky ass for being a terrorist? Huh? Huh? Huh?
