Are liquids still off-limits on airplanes, and has there been any
explanations why? Were the liquid bombers foiled? Has anyone heard anything about this lately?
Hmmm... You'd think if this was a real threat they'd be shouting it from the rooftops. Did they inconvenience millions for nothing?

1. 'Did they inconvenience millions for nothing?'
Yes. In the name of "doing something". And liquids, gels and aerosols are still prohibited as carry on.

2. Yes, no liquid or gel carry on items still in effect.
I just flew yesterday. Actually it wasn't much of an inconvenience for me but I can see where it would be for others.

4. Did you fly domestically or international?

How easy was it to get water on the plane? Oh, and I don't mean just a "drink" -- I mean large quantities. I go through close to two quarts on an overseas flight. so I always used to bring a sports bottle of 24 or more ounces with me just for starters.

That's my primary problem flying...keeping hydrated.

6. Domestic.
Only a short flight from Orlando to Philadelphia. I would think you could get as much water as you wanted, it doesn't seem like it would be a problem.

3. Yes, you can't take them on.
A slight inconvience for me but I put up with it knowing the times in which we live.

5. Welcome to DU, clark08. I'd just like to know whatever happened
with this case or whether we were terrorized for nothing.
