Mike DeWine and his Republican friends are distorting the facts again. And we're holding them accountable.


We're lighting the airwaves with our first TV ad, holding DeWine and his Republican friends responsible for misleading voters on DeWine's failed record and their attempts to smear Sherrod Brown.

The truth is that while DeWine voted for the Bush tax breaks for the wealthy, Sherrod voted to cut taxes for the middle-class 33 times.

In a past ad, DeWine used images of the burning Twin Towers for political gain and took votes out of context. It was also discovered that DeWine doctored the images of the towers.


Another ad continued a tradition of distortion forcing DeWine to admit he misrepresented votes about the bipartisan nature of his record.

in the suburbs southeast of Cleveland. We have been hit for the last week by very negative ads against Sherrod and the preacher. Tax and spend is their mantra.

We need taxes to support America, to fund the Bush wars, to take care of the disabled veterans that Bush has given us, to help the Katrina victims as well as those from previous hurricanes who still have blue tarps years later, to help the poor, the elderly and the disabled, to give health care coverage to the millions who have none, to rebuild our cities, to protect our ports, to renew our infrastructure and to educate our children and young adults.

If you are American and earning a good living or have inherited wealth, you should be proud and feel obligated to pay your fair share of taxes to keep America the nation she was before Bush.

I wish someone would just stand up and say there is nothing wrong with paying taxes.

Like he promised, he's hitting back, every time.

Sherrod has always been excellent at policy, his voting record has and will always be exemplary.

Looks like they got him to cut his hair, too. :P
