Gamblers think the safe money is on Democrats in the senate
www.tradesports.com is an interesting website were people can bet on political races. I have noticed that when people are putting their money where their mouth is, they tend to favor the incumbents. Regardless, I thought DUers might find the current odds (rounded) on these senate races interesting.

MO senate: McCaskill (D) is favored to win over Talent (R) 3:2
MT senate: Tester (D) is favored to win over Burns (R) 2:1
OH senate: Brown (D) is favored to win over Dewine (R) 2:1
RI senate: Whitehouse (D) is favored to win over Chafee or Laffey (R) 2:1
PA senate: Casey (D) is favored to win over Santorum (R) 4:1

Here is another interesting one
OH Governor: Strickland (D) is favored to win over Blackwell (R) 19:1

7. As I said
they favor the incumbents.
Lieberman 3:2
The odds were against Lamont in the primary until a week or two before the primary happened. I got in on Lamont when the odds were about against him, about 1:3 or 1:4. The money I made off of that has been donated to other campaigns.

11. Pawlenty over Hatch 4:1
You can look at a graph of the odds over time, and it looks like a month ago it was 3:2, so it has really spiked in Pawlenty's favor lately.

12. amazing
I can't believe Pawlenty is looking better, it has to be that Hatch isn't looking good enough. Most of us in MN have had p-lenty of Pawlenty. What a tool he is!

13. MPR said that Hatch is holding back his funds for a late push
with more TV commercials next month.

9. Fascinating. I am surprised the RNC hasnt gotten GOP donors to
start to placing bets to fix the odds.
