The fake terror warnings haven't worked the way they did in '02 and '04, and the British Bojinka bullshit is completely falling apart at the seams so quickly that it might become a negative campaign issue before election day. All the signs are pointing to an imminent invasion of Iran, but I don't think that invasion is ready yet and likely won't be for another couple of months.

So it's time for the Bush Administration to murder some Americans again.

Here's the thing: suspicion against the kleptocrats is running as high as it ever has. This job is going to have to come completely from the inside. That's going to make the "terrorists" caucasian, English-speaking, and unwilling to die themselves, so this time they can't be captured or even positively identified. It's going to make the target something designed to enrage fence-sitters and liberal-leaning voters--I'm tempted to speculate, but I wont.

In these next attacks, watch for all of the evidence against the perpetrators to be generated off-stage, by hearsay from anonymous officials, by witnesses with strong GOP ties, and backed up by one of those Osamamatic tapes or videos. If there are actual brown bodies left at the scene, we'll need to demand thorough autopsies which concentrate heavily on diet (i.e. Guantanamo food) and evidence of recent confinement (wrist and ankle bruises; evidence of torture).

If and when it happens, the first question we must ask ourselves, our friends, and anyone who might possibly know, "did you have anything to do with this?" We need to ask it publicly, and loudly, and we must be prepared to respond to the typical "why do you hate America" non-answer. This time, we must suspect the people who stand to gain the most from it from the beginning. Those suspects will be the Bush Adminstration and the Republican Party.
