2. A boring ad but it might work. Ned needs to get on the air ASAP
Ever since the primary Ned's TV ads have been almost non-existent

3. I talked to a friend of
mine in CT - she said that Lamont's ads were fantastic and if politically possible, real. He has a big war chest, he may be waiting till closer to the election - let's not forget that the public has a really short memory.

6. Ned's running his "signs" ad that opens with Katrina victims
A wonderful working of that theme that was one of hisearly ads. Now it is so appropriate at the anniversary of Katrina.

Yeah, I'm going back to the phones or wherever they want me at Lamong HQ in downtown New Haven and devoting some time each week volunteering. Hope it helps.

4. Zoiks! Soylent Green!
Isn't that the same movie the "peepull" were shown to relax them before getting processed into Soylent Green?

Creepy/hilarious.

7. If it's the video I think it is . . .
Yes, the sun is setting in that commercial, although the Lieberman default response was to lie and say it wasn't. Someone tracked down the original stock footage, and it was taken on the West Coast (where the sun sets over the ocean) near Santa Barbara.

Another moment of d'oh for J'oe.

8. One of the worst ads I've ever seen
That can't be effective in this day & age. Lamont shouldn't run ads before next week anyway. It's the end of summer and no one's paying attention yet.
