Prepare for the next "Red Shirt xxxday" - you know it's coming
So, you get all those stupid e-mails from your well-meaning friends who couldn't research how many fingers they have on one hand ... or you get one from your not-so-well-meaning friends just to irk you ...

You get the "Okay everybody, let's show our support for the troops! Wear a red shirt on fill-in-the-blankday!"

Prepare now.

Get your red shirt ready ... you know, the one that says "Buck Fush" on it ...

2. I just have to say....
...that I have a few family members who are relatively new to the Internet (Sad and pathetic, I know).

I've been on before Netscape was invented. So, when people send me these, "Please forward this to 10 people, including the person who sent it to you--and you'll have great luck ALL DAY!!!" emails, I roll my eyes.

The thing is...these people don't understand when I don't forward the messages back to them, and 10 other people. They practically take it as a personal attack.

Step away from the keyboard!

7. I am an email administrator
If I catch any staff forwarding one of those, I pull their network access for 24 hours.

8. I'm going shirtless on Friday
to show my support of the troops. This will accomplish just as much as wearing a red shirt to support the troops.

9. Sorry, I don't wear red shirts
Besides making me making me look unhealthy, they increase my chance of being killed
before the first commercial.
