2. No, it's his official rolling-up-my-sleeves uniform.
The Garanimals tag matches it to coordinating pants.

15. Yeah, they WERE always rolled up-sleeves, too...
Garanimals-I remember those. Well, he WAS in his "youth" 'til he was 40, since he was an alcoholic 'til he was 40 (at least he SAYS he's no longer an alcoholic-I have some questions about that). So that would make him 20 years out of his youth now-STILL too old for Garanimals.

6. For a while I was thinking that blue was the only color Bush wore, until
this umm... different ensemble (tucked in yet)....

All I can figure is that it was one of those gifts one HAS to wear/display at least once (maybe one of the twins or Condi gave it to him. ;))

Someone must have told him that blue is his color so he wears it all the time. :eyes:

16. Did you notice how he puffs his arms out?
And the day he told Brownie he's doin' a heckuva job, his lower arms were out like he was about to reach for his guns in his holster.

9. His handlers put him in a brown suit 2 weeks ago. Big mistake. He
looked like a vacuum cleaner salesman.

12. Remember those wild Hawaiian shirts he wears to
various functions--like his birthday party. Not really in keeping with Katrina, though.

13. psychology of color
http://www.infoplease.com/spot/colors1.html

..when he wants to "calm" things down - it's blue attire....

Blue
The color of the sky and the ocean, blue is one of the most popular colors. It causes the opposite reaction as red. Peaceful, tranquil blue causes the body to produce calming chemicals, so it is often used in bedrooms. Blue can also be cold and depressing. Fashion consultants recommend wearing blue to job interviews because it symbolizes loyalty. People are more productive in blue rooms. Studies show weightlifters are able to handle heavier weights in blue gyms.

....but when he wants to hype things - he wears a red tie..

Red
The most emotionally intense color, red stimulates a faster heartbeat and breathing.
It is also the color of love. Red clothing gets noticed and makes the wearer appear heavier. Since it is an extreme color, red clothing might not help people in negotiations or confrontations. Red cars are popular targets for thieves. In decorating, red is usually used as an accent. Decorators say that red furniture should be perfect since it will attract attention.

The most romantic color, pink, is more tranquilizing. Sports teams sometimes paint the locker rooms used by opposing teams bright pink so their opponents will lose energy.

side note on the color PINK: Pink is tranquilizing..at first - then it gets people jittery. Ever wonder why a Dunkin Donuts interior is pink? It gets you to stay for that 2nd cup of coffee and donut, then it makes you jittery enough to leave to make room for the next customer instead of sitting there yakking and not buying more coffee
