Hey Media People ..... why is it always "some on the left'?
This is a general meme we hear daily. So innocuous that we often don't even consciously hear it.

'Some on the left ....'

I honestly can't recall *ever* hearing your air carry the phrase 'Some on the right ....'

Why is that? To me, it seems to be one more example of your not so subtle bias against more than half of our nation's citizens.

When used as it is, 'some on the left .... ' is both dismissive and derisive.

Stop it.

2. Good point
I believe you're right. Come to think of it, I've never heard them say "Some on the right....".

I think they're trying to insinuate that: in one big group is all the normal people. And then there's those on the left. The outsiders. The weirdos."

That's what it sounds like they're implying, to me.

3. There is no right wing politix anymore
The Buxh administration moved their "centrist" views into what was formerly the extreme right wing. Anyone who opposes those views are clearly "to the left" of center.

8. This Party is no better, when compared....
Our "Center" is so far Right, their poster boy could be Attila the Hun.

The DLC has "triangulated" us into a dangerously absurd position... hating "Liberals", but making sure everyone in the Party but them are just that.

4. It's a way to make people doubt themselves, Stinky
by saying anyone who is asking questions now is "some (kook) on the left."

People want to think of themselves as MODERATES.

This is just a way to try to marginalize the MAJORITY.

5. Because, if they actually named names, then they would have to
use facts ... and they're lacking in that capacity ...

6. The media thinks that being part of 65% of the country
makes you radical.

They consider it radical and extreme to disapprove of Bush.

But, given his poll numbers, I would argue that its the Bush supporters who are the fringe extremists.

7. You don't ever hear them refer to the internet
as the conservative blogosphere either, I guess Freeperville is falling down on the job. Actually I believe the mass corporate media considers anyone liberal, if they believe corporations should not be our masters.
