Webb (D) leads Allen (Macaca R) in the Virginia Senate race!!!!
According to a just-released Wall Street Journal/Zogby poll, Jim Webb is now LEADING George Allen by 1.3 percentage points, 47.9% to Allen's 46.6%.

According to Zogby polling, Allen had been leading by about 11 points in mid-July, but that lead has evaporated in what John Zogby calls a "colossal political crackup" by Allen.

Webb 47.9%, Allen 46.6%!

What we do does make a difference!

By the way, Jim Webb accepts no money from PACs or special interest groups. Jim Webb is the real deal: A decorated war hero, former secretary of the Navy, author, and dedicated American.

However, we have been told to expect negative ads from the same group that brought us the Swift Boat ads in 2004.

Please consider donating to the Webb campaign so that he can counter these negative and lying ads from a very desperate and very phony George Felix Allen, former 2008 Republican presidential hopeful.

Thank you!

8. I'd like to personally thank Mr. Allen and Mr. Siddarth
for creating a contested seat where there had not been one before. This will most definitely help take the Senate. As a Virginian, I will not miss Mr. Allen's shoddy "representation."

9. What happens to the racist's chances to be the 2008 Republick
nominee if he's beaten in the 2006 senatorial race?

13. Even if Allen wins, he is out as a presidential contender thanks to
not just the Macaca interchange but because he then lied and did a very poor job of it.

To be a Republican president these days, the ability to lie and be able to convince others that you are not lying is a must.

Allen fails on that criterion.

11. In this case, it's not so much what we did
as what he did to himself...

The people got an unscripted look behind the façade (golly, that's FRENCH ain't it?) and didn't like what they saw. It was kind of a strange thing to say in isolation, but taken as a whole, it's damning.
