They keep saying we're safer because we haven't been bombed since 9-11?

he first bombing of New York's World Trade Center was on February 26, 1993 and again September 11 2001 - that's 8+ years between the two attacks.

Question: Why is it accepted as some sort of success that five years has almost passed since we have last been attacked and too many people are heralding this as some sort of praise to the way Bush is handling terrorism??

To me, until the US. passes at least eight years from being attacked on our homeland we've accomplished zilch!

Any enlightenment is greatly appreciated.

This drives me crazy too! ...Anyone with half a brain has to see that we cut back on first responders, our borders are open, and this White House wants to hand our ports over to the so-called enemy.

If anything, it would be within reason to think Bush & Co. do have personal ties to UBL...Everytime Bush needs Usama to scare the poop out of his followers, there's Usama with a tape ready to oblige.
