Thousands attend Katherine Harris event in Orlando
Edited on Sat Aug-26-06 11:09 AM by Lost-in-FL
:sarcasm:

Thousands!!! So many they were left outside. I'm series!!!111!!!

Look!! She's so happy!! This is Hugh!!!!!!1111!!!!!

"Whenever we legislate sin," she said, "and we say abortion is permissible and we say gay unions are permissible, then average citizens who are not Christians, because they don't know better, we are leading them astray and it's wrong. . . ."

Harris also said the separation of church and state is a "lie we have been told" to keep religious people out of politics.

In reality, she said, "we have to have the faithful in government" because that is God's will. Separating religion and politics is "so wrong because God is the one who chooses our rulers," she said.

"And if we are the ones not actively involved in electing those godly men and women," then "we're going to have a nation of secular laws. That's not what our founding fathers intended and that's certainly isn't what God intended."

1. Good god she is looking homely
Far be it from me to comments on a woman's appearance, but DAYUM SHE IS A DOG!

No - Dogs are more attractive. She's a Rhesus Monkey.

12. That word stuck out when I read it too
Intereresting that she should say RULERS instead of LEADERS. A king or dictator is a ruler. A prime minister, congressman, or president is a leader.
Just shows you the mindset of the GOP: elect me and I will rule your life. Oh, and don't bother calling my office or writing me a letter.

4. Oh thanks Katherine
for letting me know that "christians" don't go astray. Oh Katherine they don't separate religion and politics in Iran so go there. And once again a dumbfuck "conservative" with access to a microphone lies about what our founding fathers intended for the sole purpose of getting the votes of the ignorant.

9. You laugh but that's more people than at a recent Ryun (R-KS) event
Here's a (bad) picture of the recent Ryun "meet 'n greet" event. Out of this crowd only two weren't associated with Ryun's campaign. Instead, they both worked for the store where the event was held. In fact, more Dems showed up with questions for Ryun (ranging from misuse of his Franking privileges to accepting money from ARMPAC). Ryun's event lasted 20 minutes before he gave up and left.

The picture is fuzzy 'cuz I was still chuckling about Ryun's suggestion that I stay away from "talkingpoints.com" (instead of talkingpointsmemo.com) and find the truth where Jim and his staff find - in "The Weekly Standard".

14. I count 13 stooges holding RW&B *Harris* signs.

That must be the total number of campaign staff she has remaining as of the time of this photo. No telling how many bailed out since the pic was taken. The rest of the "crowd" must be curiosity seekers, something like the people who gather around at the scene of a train wreck. To be honest, I would like to be present for at least one of Krazy Katie's speaking engagements. I'm sure it would be a barrel of laughs. After the election is over I would suggest she try her hand at starting a sitcom. She is sure to be a smash hit at that.

Maybe call it the "Krazy Katie Show" or "Oh, That Katie"

21. I'm wondering about the lady in the red coat
It seems as though the next photo would show her sign on the floor and her walking out the door. I don't know how Harris gets up in the morning.
Pathetic.

16. Gawd. She must be really embarrassed.
If she wasn't so clueless, she should do a "tell all" about the theft of the Florida election for bush, and tell on her boyfriend, Jeb.

That rally picture makes me shiver.

17. Has She Always Been This "Preachy"
or is she taking cues from the GWB school of how to win through phoney religious claims?

I don't remember her being all Godly when she was stealing the votes in 2000 and disenfranchising "folks" of the black kind.
