Tweety on McCain: "He grieves at those who made Iraq sound easy, but..."
...HE made it sound easy."

This came after the clip in 2003 of McCain saying that we WOULD be greeted as LIBERATORS, and Iraq's "neighbors" would all be happy that we took Saddam down.

Tweety on McCain and Bush:

"He's straddling both sides of the Bush fence...he never strays too far, so it's easy for him to come back"...

:patriot:

7. ok, maybe I'm not understanding....
the way I read the quote, Tweety is being NEGATIVE towards McCain. He said McCain says one thing but then plays a video of him saying the opposite.

3. But but but.. I thought McCain was a "maverick"?
It's pretty clear now that McCain will bend over and enthusiastically take it from anyone and everyone. He's not a whore, he's a political slut.

4. One must recall where McCain comes from.
His family history and training are all military. It makes for a way of thinking that anti-war people usually do not understand. He seems to think power is the only thing.

8. I think his thinking is tilted to wanting to be President.
Every thing will be fit into that thinking along with 'might makes right'. And when you hear the zealots call on c-span and say we should nuke who ever off the face of the world you know 'might makes right' is a strong theme that runs through our country. We can not bully the world and time we put people in that knew that. McCain I do not think is that man. Times have changed and we need new thinkers in office.

6. Does Tweety still wear his Bush button under his lapel?
Or is there too much blood under there for the button to remain readable?

9. That was Tim Russert.
But, I can see how could be confused: they're both large blow hards.
