Dear Democratic Candidate,

I love you. You're my kind of man/woman. I support you in your efforts to get yourself elected and to return the Congress to Democratic control.

But you know, I've been a little worried about one small thing. Do you really know your opponent?

Sometimes it seems that you and your opponent are running against someone who isn't even a candidate! And doing it together. What gives? I know you two aren't in cahoots and all, but geeeze. He's running hard against President Bush. And so are you!

Why?

See, here's the thing. Bush? He's toast. He's so last year. Everybody except for the religiously insane and a few hardcore guys who sleep on Superman sheets and sit at their computers in their Spiderman undies typing 'boooooYAH' know he's toast. The guy you're running against is scared shitless about being connected to Bush. He knows toxicity when he sees it.

So stop with the antiBush stuff. Stop it right now.

Instead, turn your energy to tying your opponent to Bush. Show how they're joined at the hip. Twins separated at birth. Two pairs of pants cut from the same bolt of cloth. Birds of a feather.

Here in Michigan- Douchebag extraordinarire Dickie Devos, Repug. candidate for Governor (running against Granholm) seems to think tying himself to Bush is actually a good thing for his campaign...

His campaign ads crack me up every single time...they are hilarious-I often mistake them for satire...
