Well, Well, Well, senator.
I guess you've flipped flopped. Maybe you can say that you were for the war before you were against it!
While watching you on the "news" this morning, I couldn't shake the image of the first few moments of "Shrek 2", when Prince Charming strutted into the castle, so impressed with his beauty while his shining hair flowed in the air, only to discover that Fiona wasn't there and worse for him, DIDN'T WANT HIM!
We won't forget your promulgating the lies of this administration while hugging the worst president in American History at a time when a genuine war hero was being slimed in the same way you were by the fellow whose armpits you were sniffing.
We won't forget you eating birthday cake with the same president and smiling while thousands of Americans who are the same color as your daughter and my son were being ignored and abandoned in the face of the worst hurricane to ever hit New Orleans.
Some of the American public and our leaders were opposed to this war from the word go. Some realized that this was a war based on lies and came to the conclusion that this was wrong.
Some, like you, are only changing their views for political gain after seeing that the public is willing to say goodbye to senators who continue to mindlessly and blindly follow the lead of the liars who started this war in the first place.
You're not late to the party. Your invitation has been canceled. Many, including (inexplicably) some Democrats, see you as a Maverick.
The same people who have taken the first step in ending the career of joseph lieberman are determined to show the public that you have 1 goal. Promoting YOU. We are determined to derail the "straight talk express" and show it to be the straight bullshit express.
If possible, I have less respect for you than for george w bush. You're willing to take any level of personal humiliation from the people who lied about you to further your personal ambition. America has no need of a man like you.
I will remind you of 3 words I will use when you promote yourself as a "man of integrity and principle".
Do you remember "THE KEATING FIVE"? I do. I will do all possible to insure that others remember those words, too.
