Bush likes to disrespect staffers by farting in front of them
:eyes:
Seriously...how gross is this guy??
This is just....embarassing...

This guy should be on Comedy Central not in the Whitehouse.....

http://www.alternet.org/blogs/peek/40661/

"He loves to cuss, gets a jolly when a mountain biker wipes out trying to
keep up with him, and now we're learning that the first frat boy loves
flatulence jokes. A top insider let that slip when explaining why President
Bush is paranoid around women, always worried about his behavior. But he's
still a funny, earthy guy who, for example, can't get enough of fart jokes.
He's also known to cut a few for laughs, especially when greeting new young
aides, but forget about getting people to gas about that."

5. Weird, but not disturbingly passive aggressive.
My good friend had a boyfriend I couldn't stand. He treated her like crap, hit on me, and would fart at her. Asshole!

13. Its the general attitude
he is so much the "I am the rich guy and you are all my lowly vassals" type.
I doubt he would do that around his rich billionaire buddies...(unless they were into that ;))

Even with the 100 degree club thing last week-he only treats those subordinate to him, or actually any one outside their little rich kids network this way.

Edited on Wed Aug-23-06 03:56 PM by Fridays Child
...and I'm not above scatological humor, myself. But I doubt if there exists a fart joke which could make up for the deaths of the sons and daughters of those NASCAR dads.

6. "The man with his finger on the button says "pull my finger""
Randi Rhodes said that on her show yesterday.

Also: "...And if sunlight is the best disinfectant, that overpowering stench you smell is coming from the White House..."

8. The thing is
I could care less what his personal habits are. He probably IS a funny guy, but the important thing is for him to quit farting around with the country, peace and the future of the planet!!

16. I don't really care about his personal habits
But its just being an asshole to treat people who are subordinate to you that way when you are the POTUS...If he did this around his friends I couldn't care less either.

Maybe I am reading too much into this, but to me it gives a window into his twisted mind and I think it shows why he figuratively "farts at" anyone he considers inferior, subordinate etc.

10. There was a great article about this in Psychology Today
It was all about how bosses like to fart, pick their noses, scratch themselves, etc. It's about power. The higher up the hierarchy you go, the more a person can act like a lout without being called on it.

* fits this to a tee. The chewing with mouth open, "Yo, Blair", the nicknames, farting, insults, etc. They're all ways that he asserts his dominance over those around him.

Edited on Wed Aug-23-06 04:04 PM by calimary
the German Chancellor - by surprise and clearly, when you viewed the clip, against her will. Shit, you JUST DON'T DO THAT STUFF at the kinds of gatherings he attends. You JUST DO NOT BEHAVE THAT WAY. Okay when you're at your own frat party or bachelor party or you're six years old or something. Okay, maybe even while you're in high school, as the class clown, or in the frat house, but FOR PETE'S SAKE, NOT when you're supposedly a head of state!!! There is such a thing as decorum. Proper behavior. Dear God, hasn't contradicta even taught him anything? Didn't he go to cotillion or something? Didn't his snooty, arrogant mom put him in etiquette classes so he'd know how to eat at the Waldorf (which was always my mom's litmus test)? Probably spits on the floor in public, too, and then makes loogey jokes. GAWD, he's beyond uncouth.

No wonder the rest of the world hates our country and looks at us with disdain and contempt. Like I said in my piece - THIS is America's face to the world. And our voice. (Humbly submitted:)

17. It's about power and humiliating people. Lyndon Johnson
reportedly (mythically?) talked to senators through the door while he was taking a crap.

I suspect many of the president's have enjoyed generating discomfort in the people around them.

The image I already had of him.

I worked for a jerk once, who would belch right in my face from 1 and 1/2 ft away. I was very happy to move to another location in the company.

Do you think he passes gas in front of world leaders?

By the way, I think some people suspected this part of Bush's personality pretty early on ... this "farting Bush doll" with real sound effects is already in production!
