Is It a"Political Pivot" or a Legitimate "Flip-Flop"?
On Good Morning America today, they interviewed John Fund about John McCain reconsidering his stance on the Iraq War. Fund very effectively referred to McCain's new viewpoint as a "clever political pivot"......that's right......a clever "POLITICAL PIVOT". Do you think that at this point, the question could have been asked, "What is the difference between a John McCain 'political pivot' and a John Kerry 'flip-flop' concerning the war in Iraq?" I hope the Democrats don't let this obvious word manipulation slip through the cracks. The media find it acceptable for John McCain to do an "about face" without a blink of an eye, but if a Democrat changes his mind, he will be chastized for a month of Sundays?

( I agree with John Murtha when he said Republicans depend too much on rhetoric...choosing just the "right phrases" vs, choosing substantive debate or substantive solutions.):banghead:

Don't let this one go unnoticed....it has been handed to the Democrats on a golden platter....don't drop it, Dems.

1. John "Child Molester" Fund can stick that pivot up his ass
The news crew at ABC should be called on the carpet for NOT calling that perv on the carpet for his bullshittery of the highest order.

2. The difference is that flip-flops are worn
whereas political pivots are inserted and rotated.

3. Clever political manipulation
He is manipulating his view to sway the voters in his direction. This man is running for the White House in 08 and must distance himself in the minds of the people, regardless of what his true views are.
He is a chameleon
