so who is supporting Schlesinger?

I don't mean if he has support here, but who in the GOP is openly supporting him? Are there any liberals groups trying to give him a boost to drown out the Lieberman GOP camp?

That no one wants to touch him. The 6 percent or so he's polling are probably loyal republicans who'd vote for anyone with an "R" after their name.
