Freeps ask God to "raise up a Godly conservative" to take Junior's place.
...random Freep-hole reactions to yesterday's mumble-fest from our beloved Decider-In-Chief...

1). To: ohioWfan

They have had five years to observe his integrity and consistency...

People who live in a place like Baltimore with the Baltimore Sun have no way of knowing about any of the President's good qualities unless they watch Fox News. The Sun's lack of coverage is extreme. Even Dick Morris, who is supposedly a political pundit, recently said that W didn't do anything and needed to get out among the American people. He probably considers himself well-read, reading the NYTimes, WaPo and LA Times...leftist rags all.

2). To: tsmith130

I just finished watching this on tape and loved it. Bush is fabulous. I cracked up at "the ridiculous looking suit" remark!! Who could not love this guy? I think that is why he is so hated, actually, because liberals are really threatened by him.
He came across as strong, sincere, sharp and very knowledgable on all of the issues.
One of his best!

3). To: PhiKapMom

Definitely worth seeing the whole thing, PhiKap. Very strong, very resolved, and not backing down at all from Iraq, Iran, or anything else, for that matter.

4). To: mariabush

We also need to be praying that God will raise up a Godly conservative to take his place.

Amen, Maria, amen.

1. This is why McCain is playing footsie with Falwell
He's looking to go after the RRR in 2008 because he thinks that is what put Bush over the top in most states that Bush actually carried in 2004.

3. these people live in an alternate universe....
how in the hell can anyone with 2 brain cells working still think Bush is anything but a crass, lying, murdering, narcissistic, incompetent psychopath?

there is just no hope for the likes of these idiots. They're going to go down with him - and then want to blame everyone but themselves.

They'll spend their lives like bitter ex-Nazis in Argentia, insisting on the greatness of their "Reich" 'til their last breath...

What a f***ing cult.

Someone needs to 'raise up' junior, his cronies and everyone who worships them and put them where they won't be a danger to themselves or others.

28. Goldwater's a liberal, by their standards
He despised and feared the rise of the religious right. He was a traditional conservative, not a religious fruitcake.

18. Ann Coulter talked about their pathetic site when she was on Tweety..
And as for most Freepers honestly being religious, two words:

YEAH, RIGHT!

They (like DU) have a Christian forum.

But unlike DU, the majority of Freepers are full of SEETHING HATE.

A seething mass of maggots..

20. A Godly conservative?
Don't they know that Bush routinely cusses when he thinks the microphones are off? What did Jesus have to say about folks who say one thing in public and do something else in private -- or when they think they are in private?

Not sure how that comports with godliness, but for my money, that disqualifies George right there. If you're looking for a Godly man, my freeper friends, allow me to submit Desmond Tutu for your approval. Someone who does the same thing in public that he does in private, and means it in both spheres. Tutu's mere existence is a shame and a reproach to Bush and Cheney.

24. Oy!
When you have to go to the trouble to reassure yourself that your President is "knowledgeable on the issues", it's time to get on the clue train. There are some things that should just be given. A President knowing stuff is definitely at the top of that list.

We just need to run the appropriate moderate-liberal candidate who'll come across as looking like the voice of reason and consensus in comparison.
