...of taking back the Senate. The VA race would be a bonus. It could mean the difference in being the Majority or the Minority. It's good to see he is in striking distance of Allen. I have a hunch there is another race we may be over-looking that might shock the hell out of everyone? I don't know where it's going to happen, but I do beleive he Democrats have a chance of taking back the Senate........and most definitely, the House...

1. Things are looking better everyday.
I donated to Webb and I live in Minnesota, but it's time for Allen to lose. Hopefully it was money well spent.

2. I was ready to give up on VA, and thus the Senate, about 2 weeks ago
But then Allen went berserk. This is looking a lot like Jim Bunning's spectacular self-destruct episode from 2004, but this time, it happened earlier, so there will be more falling, and Virginia is a lot more purple than Kentucky, so I think that Webb has this race in his grasp.

I think we'll be taking Montana, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island. This gives us a tie, but with Virginia, we have a 50-1-49 majority (or a 49-2-49 majority) which is essentially the same as 51-49 since the one or two indies caucus with us.

6. I was waiting for this to happen.
Webb is a superb candidate there and just needed a little bit of help to start pluggin away at Allen. I think he got that help and I think a lot more people are going to start paying attention to what he stands for now.

3. There is more to come. Allen's karma is coming home to him.
I posted this earlier. The SEC may be investigating Xybernault's pipe trading deals while Allen was on their Board of Directors in 98-2000.

Xybernault was more interested in stock sales than in merchandise sales. Stock was way overvalued. Shady "Investors" came in and depleted stock value on Allen's watch.

4. Another race looking better for us is Tennessee
Ford's doing a very credible job .... and Corker's in some embroglio over selling protected land to Wal Mart in violation of the city code when he was mayor of Chattanooga.

7. Just gotta wait and see. If that little scandal coult get out to people,
Ford really has a chance. He's conservative for the state and has a lot of potential. I'll keep up with the polls to see how he's doing. One thing maybe worth noting is that several months before the primaries, Corkers was the one who was most competitive with Ford. If I remember right, everybody else was womping him in the polls. immediately before the primaries, the person with the best chance was Corker with less than `10 point lead. He now has abotu a 6 point lead.

I think Ford is starting to catch on.We'll see if something happens.

9. And, that race is looking good.
Allen's "macaca" slur-heard-'round-the-world has turned that race around, and I think Webb might take it.

Good news for our plurality in Congress.
