Strickland & Brown Bus Tour A Success
this is a great read about the candidates. I saw Strickland speak last week and he is such a passionate speaker

"The crowd of about 300 hissed when Brown linked the Republican-controlled Congress and President Bush to high oil profits.
The chief executive of Exxon Mobil earns $17,000 an hour, while a minimum-wage worker earns less than $11,000 a year, Brown said.
Strickland also hit hard on the minimum wage issue with the story of his 80-year-old sister, Helen, who worked for minimum wage at a discount dollar store after losing her husband, a veteran who lost a leg in World War II.
“With me, it’s personal — I think of Helen,” Strickland said, urging the crowd to support a constitutional amendment to increase Ohio’s minimum wage to $6.85 an hour and tie future increases to the consumer price index."
