Don't you remember how we all jumped on Lott and got a MORE PARTISAN Bush-hack majority leader in his place?

Just wrap them up in their remarks and move on - don't kill the beast - - - not - - yet. ;)

We jumped on Corsi, too, when we should have let him become the face of the swifts a while longer instead of chasing him completely out of the picture within a week. The swifts retreated and regrouped without Corsi, their weakest link.

Editted to add - this does NOT mean keeping him in the senate - we need to damage him enough for that and move on without killing him off completely. The giant egotist wants to run for pres - and so do we.

5. Getting rid of allen means probably gaining a Dem majority.
I think that's better than thrashing him in 08.

9. My aim is for both. Allen is a thug and will beat on McCain.

a loss to Webb will cripple him in a big way leading up to a presidential bid.

13. Nah - GOPs don't think like that. A BIG loss might, but a loss wouldn't.
It would be a sign to an egotist that he was MEANT to run for president and that he is now FREED up to pursue that goal fulltime.

8. Oh - I don't mean let him win his senate seat back - just don't kill him
off completely now - the egotist wants to run in 2008.

11. If Allen loses his Senate seat
he'll be effectively dead in the water for 2008.

I never thought Bush would have a chance in hell of becoming president. So I am less inclined to believe the same about Allen.
Anything can happen.

17. I'd love to see him as the Repub candidate
in a debate vs Feingold, he'd end up a teeming load of blubbering mincemeat.
