Smackdown of Boston Globe (Reilly Scandal/Deval Patrick)
The media out to misinform the public again. Why am I not surprised?

I just thought I'd point out to readers here this dkos diary dissects the latest tripe from the Boston Globe trying to blame Deval Patrick for Reilly's campaign mistakes. It links to a good blog post that can bring anyone up to speed on the latest developments in the MA Governor's race propaganda war -- slicing through the crap handily.

One of the blog comments struck me as very prescient: Deval's opposition has put themselves into an untenable position. They are trying to make Deval look like a bleeding heart liberal to the moderates, and at the same time, trying to make him look like a socially conservative corporate shill to the liberals. The two just won't mix, and the wires will short out on this strategy the minute it gets wet.

1. Govern...um, I mean...Mr. Patrick
Will face more attacks before this is over, but I have the feeling he and his campaign will be up to it. At least I hope so.....I think he's the best thing to come along for a very long time. I really want to see him in the Governor's office....
