Just anecdotal ...... today I saw a story on Clinton's turning 60. They spoke about how he played sax on Arsenio. How he 'marched to his own drum'. How he was the (evil?) quintessential Boomer. Yadda yadda fuckin' yadda ......

Contrast that to when Il Dunce turned 60. Nothing derisive. Just a few tired old 'age' jokes. Ha ha fuckin' ha ....

Then we learn that nutty fuck Karr had some bubbly on the plane back from Thailand. Like I fucking care. Like ANYBODY fucking cares. Like, somehow it mattered. Then we learned he dined on fried jumbo prawns and had a glass of California chardonnay.

I can't believe they didn't let us know the vintner and the vintage. I mean, we **have** to know that, don't we? Whta kind of asshole journalists would leave a big story like this unreported?

I'm making gelato. At least my family will enjoy it after dinner tonight. A fact I report here that has as much to do with anything as those other fucking stories do.

I couldn't agree with you more that the focusing on the runaway bride, or the missing girl in Aruba, has been totally trumped by this JBR hoopalah.

We've more than likely killed a million Iraqi's, though we "don't do body counts."

Though I don't doubt that the death of a little girl, no matter how spoiled, is a absolute heart wrenching tragedy, if she was Iraqi would any one be paying notice 10 years down the line. I think not.
