Is it a surprise that conservative pundits are defending the racist comments of one of their own ??? .... Doesn't that qualify as a 'Dog Bites Man' story ? ...

I have no objection to:

1) Your request that another poster donate to DU .... seems a no-brainer to me ...

2) Stating that another poster is promoting their own production is fair .... I mean: it is a fact, is it not ? .... What is there to hide from ? ..... We cannot discuss this fact in the open air ? ....

I'm not running advertisements for my blog. I'm posting stories here as I post them on my blog.

Is there a benefit for my blog's traffic? Sure. Is there a benefit to DU readers? I hope so.

Re: NYCGirl, I don't have a problem being asked to donate. I just don't see the point to being obnoxious about it. There are better ways to reach out to someone. What she did was not necessary, and if anything, turned me off the idea.
