So, Dubya Wants Some Show of Gratitude From the Iraqis
Our Dear Leader is miffed because not only were there:

no flowers and chocolates thrown at the troops,
no accolades from the intelligensia,
no co-operation from the religious,
no good press and
no baksheesh once Chalabi was put in the political landfill,

but also this bloody civil war (the fuckup that dare not speak its name) which is making a shambles of the pie-in-the-sky PNAC plot that wouldn't pass muster in a comic book for toddlers.

So, are heads rolling in DC? Have Cheney and Rumsfeld been given their pink slips? No, indeed not!

Our Fearless Leader is instead taking his pique out on the Iraqi people, whom he has bombed, robbed and murdered and yet they still won't give him what he wants: adoration.

Be careful what you wish for, George. The people of the Middle East have long memories, longer knives, and friends in the most shadowy of places. You, on the other hand, have no friends, and your adoring crowds are melting away because you can't afford to pay them off any more.

1. I think at this point it's far likelier that blivet could be given his
walking papers by Cheney & Rumsfeld.

6. I'd rather have Bush than either of those two. I don't know what we can d
do but sit it out til the jinx's term is over. I don't want to jump from the frying pan to the fire with putting Cheney in the Presidency.

7. I agree. I think 99% of the problems emanate from Cheney's office.

the infrastructure (what little was left), torture and kill innocent civilians, and they don't thank you for it. The nerve.

:sarcasm:

By this logic, we should be thanking the 'terrorists', or 'liberators' (according to Bush's logic), because that "changed everything" and allowed the government to trash the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, thereby 'liberating' US citizens of those pesky (and inalienable) Constitutional Rights. :grr:

8. A token of appreciation
Guess he doesn't receive enough gratification just from totally destroying their country...now he wants gratitude for his good deeds. What a guy!
