Just got my 2007 United States Navy Memorial Calendar
12 months of pictures of those who joined just to pad their resume. Each day has a historical note of what the sea services did:

18 August 1950 - 1st Marine Brigade fights along Obong-ni Ridge, Korea

Page after page of Sailors and Chiefs and Officers looking sharp and doing their best. Too bad they aren't real patriots like those who wave the flag and sport the magnets and act really fucking stupid when someone tells the truth about them and their kind and the people they vote for.

3. All the pictures are of current service members except
one, where a WWII Veteran reads off the list of Submarines lost during WWII and the cold war during the annual tolling the boats memorial.

Dontcha just know that limbaugh and his kind just seeths when he reads these posts.

8. Thanks very much for the sentiment
but I wouldn't want that rancid motherfucker anywhere near me. I surely would love to debate him on the plus/minuses of the bush administration and the future of conservatism in this country and the value of military service as it applies to radio commentary.

2. dang - you would think there would be at least 1 picture of an suv or
a hummer with a yellow ribbon magnet and a "4 more years" bumper sticker.

4. That picture would be in there, except . . .
Navy veterans hate freedom and America sooooo much. At least, that's what "some people" say . . .

The preceding is, of course, sarcasm and shouldn't be taken seriously by anyone with more than three working brain cells. And if you missed this disclaimer, I think we have our answer as to where you fall on the "more than or less than three working brain cells" continuum.

5. All us vets joined up just cuz we like to kill people & blow up shit.
And of course for the awesome pay and copious leisure time.

Actually blowing shit up is kinda cool.

11. That pay was awesome huh shipmate?
and to think, in comparison to chickenhawks, our resume is padded.

limbaugh:

- failed at all enterprises not relative to hating and lying
- education: borderline minimal
- military service: none; however is an expert in anal cystology
- family life: a joke
- drug abuse: has it ever stopped?
- social life: nonexistent; except when bought
- sex life: needs help getting it up for no apparent reason; trips to countries which promote child prostitution; thank God has fathered nothing (human)

Recommend this applicant be appointed a military expert and foreign affairs insider for faux news. He will mix well with their current team.

7. my father is a WWII Navy veteran & might like that--how can I get one?
btw, he wrote a book and has a website on the "splinter fleet," the wooden subchasers used in WWII, which he describes as "workhorses," the smallest commissioned ships in both WWI and WWII. I love looking at his photo album from the South Pacific during WWII.
