Edited on Thu Feb-05-04 10:30 PM by Jack_Dawson
He can't put together a single sentence. What if Clinton spoke like that?

Look, I'm not judging because I hate speaking in front of people so I understand fumbling for words and such, but I'm not the Leader of the Free World!

* is unfit intellectually and psychologically for the job SCOTUS selected him to fill. We have to get him O-U-T.

14. Did you dig those clips of Shrub firmly mouthing cliches?
I wish I could Nexis for all the RW claptrap about Clinton 'biting his lip', mocking his intelligence and empathy.

There were some few seconds of aWol sucking his lips inside out, way better than Cheeta.

He's been doing more labial fidgeting recently. The maturing false president.

13. "Blasting the media" ain't his style. Clark sucks at whining. He's a doer.
He's a leader. Leaders don't whine. Only Bill Bennet whines. Oh, and Rush Limbaugh. And Bob Novak. And Bob Dole. And Richard Perle. And all those blonde spokesmodels they've been breeding in captivity.

21. You mean
"There's no whining in leadership?" :7 That was a VERY nice interview! Aaron Brown had an email exchange with a Clark supporter yesterday. The blogger must have made Aaron feel guilty. :bounce: Aaron was using RW talking points in his reply...Is Clark a Democrat? He voted for Reagan and Bush I, ect.... he said that all the bad coverage was Clark's own fault. :eyes: He was awfully gracious tonight though.

Go Wes!

39. Office of special plans or something.
I don't know the whole story, but from what I gather, it is a Cheney group of special ops. Rumor is that they were the ones to manipulate the intel (Did I get that right?) for the Iraq invasion.

25. I liked it
and the story about Dean after it.

I wish Wes had talked more about his rivals--unload on Kerry and Edwards and their records--but I understand why he talked about Chimpy. When he is on the national stage from now on, though, he should put his attention into drawing distinctions between himself and his rivals, not his GE rival. Aaron gave him that question and he needed to do more with it.

He looked great and he was right on, as always, when he talked about foreign policy. He seemed really likable, as dumb as that sounds, in the interview.

28. Perfection. (near 'bout)
Wesley knows an Alley Oop from Tenet when he sees one!

Man, was that good. How can ANYone watch that and fail to realize that this is the man to lead us?

(nearbout because at the goodby, the director chopped off Wes' reply to Brown; the media just can't muster the professionalism to cover Clark square)

33. I thought it was a wonderful interview.
Clark took control after he answered the Wes Jr. question, and he showed his command of foreign policy.
Aaron Brown treated him very fairly.

I was boycotting CNN during the Iraq war, so I missed all the NewsNights where Clark was providing analysis. I feel like I really missed something.

41. Yes, you missed something great
Clark oftentimes took over the narrative from Brown and explained the nuances of strategy and diplomacy. He was great and I was hoping he was a democrat (he sounded like one during the war) and that he would run.

I held off on committing to him until last week but I had been impressed during the war.
