Hot Chicks in Bikinis Hack Diebold: A Spoonful of Sugar Helps
Edited on Thu Aug-17-06 11:56 AM by McCamy Taylor
OK, we know where we can buy Diebold and other used electronic voting machine--on Ebay and online at other sites. It is even legal. We know that Diebold and other electronic voting machines can be hacked by anyone with a screw driver and thirty minutes to spare. It is easy to record and upload videos onto online sites like YouTube where millions of people can watch them.

So, why not follow up on the break out sucess of the "You can hack a Diebold voting machine with a screwdriver" by making a video called "Hot Chicks in Bikinis Hack Diebold Machines"? Or some other sensational idea like "Kids vs. Grandparents" or "Battle of the Sexes."

The problem with publicizing electronic election fraud is that it is scary :scared: . But everyone loves a story about how man (or woman) is smarter than a machine. If videos appear which show people who do not look like they should be able to hack, hacking, people will watch. If the same videos happen to mention that these same machines will be in service in certain states this fall, people will get the message.

This is the Mary Poppins solution for getting kids to take medicine which they dont want. Make it sweet.

:applause:

3. The more people know how to do it
the more plausible their claim that some renegade Democrat 'fixed' some election.

Joe shmoe doesn't need to know how to do it.

county commissioner how easy it is.
He also needs to tell them that he does not want it to be possible.
We do not want it to happen.
It should not be able to happen.
We know how easy it is.
Joe Shmoe should know how easy it is.

The "officials" need to make sure it does not happen.
I am going to refuse to accept any "Election" that is not provable.

PS It is not my job to prove it was hacked.
It is Their job to prove to me it was fair.

"It is not my job to prove it was hacked.

With NON-TRANSPARENT vote counting, the presumption MUST be fraud. What other reason is there for NON-TRANSPARENT vote counting?

Just ask citizens of Stalinist Russia! It's not who votes that counts--it's who counts the votes!

And here are the main two corporations who are counting all our votes using TRADE SECRET, PROPRIETARY programming code, with virtually no audit/recount controls:

DIEBOLD: Until recently, headed by Wally O'Dell, a Bush-Cheney campaign chair and major fundraiser (a Bush "Pioneer," right up there with Ken Lay), who promised in writing to "deliver Ohio's electoral votes to Bush-Cheney in 2004"; and

ES&S: A spinoff of Diebold (similar computer architecture), initially funded by rightwing billionaire Howard Ahmanson, who also gave one million dollars to the extremist 'christian' Chalcedon Foundation (which touts the death penalty for homosexuals, among other things). Diebold and ES&S have an incestuous relationship; they are run by two brothers, Bob and Todd Urosevich.

These are the people who "counted" 80% of the nation's votes in 2004, under a veil of corporate secrecy. They have hung onto this power with tooth and claw, and have sought to extend it over the last two years. Resistance is mounting, but not strong enough yet to throw these election theft machines into 'Boston Harbor" where they belong. It is the most black-holed story in the history of journalism.

-----------

THE ABSENTEE BALLOT PROTEST

I think the only thing we can do for November is massive Absentee Ballot voting. The election reform movement is growing by leaps and bounds--with new groups formed all over the country, many lawsuits being filed, numerous books and articles and web sites devoted to the subject--but there is nothing on the horizon to stop Stolen Election III this fall. What to do? I think the answer is to FLOOD election officials with MOUNTAINS of paper ballots to deal with, create panic and crisis in the election theft industry, and FORCE reform NOW. Boycott the machines! Don't vote on them! Let them sit idle! Rebel! An AB vote is not "safe" either--and will NOT result in accurate vote counts, but if enough people vote AB (and many are--it's up to 50% in Los Angeles), it CAN bring this election theft system to its knees--push corrupt election officials out, or into negotiation with election reformers. What will they do if nobody will vote on their expensive, shiny, new election theft equipment? It will also result in better scrutiny on how AB votes, and all paper votes, are counted. It will be a massive citizen "vote no confidence" in things as they are. It's easy. Everybody can do it. Participating in a protest aimed at un-rigging the system is an incentive to vote. It will help turnout. We've got nothing to lose--and everything to gain, by pushing this protest and making it very big.

Extra precautions: Photocopy your Absentee Ballot; send it registered mail/return receipt requested, or deliver in person. Send a separate letter stating your objections to NON-TRANSPARENT vote counting. Transparent elections are very simple. People vote, and you count the votes in public view. Anything less is tyranny and fascism.

9. It's a great idea but you need an org to carry it out....
I don't think DU does this kind of thing. Perhaps black box voting would fund and oversee this project.
