What is the best site to track campaign contributions?
Im working on a local campaign for the MD House of Delegates.

Im hoping to dig up some information regarding the LNG plant proposed in our local neighborhood. Hopefully I will find some campaign contributions from AES to our incumbents...

11. Phil Donahue must be thrilled
I clicked on his name when it scrolled past, and he gave $4200 to Stephanie Studebaker, the Ohio House candidate who had the leave the race a few days ago due to domestic abuse charges.

12. Hey, Joe Theismann gave $4200 to Harold Ford
$2100 each for the primary and general.

I guessed almost 100% when clicking on the celebrity names and which side they donated to. The cinch is clicking on a golfer and knowing it's GOP. Damn Arnold Palmer is giving to Santorum, although he also regularly contributes to John Murtha.

keep in mind that a $2000 to Democrats from Reese Witherspoon is like you contributing $10... considering how much she makes.....I found it interesting to see who contributed directly to specific candidates outside of California... Hollywood loves Barbara Boxer.... but look at what Paul Newman and Chevy Chase contributed....
thats a contributor!

13. Thanks for the scoop ... unaware that we could do this type of tracking.
I bookmarked all of the above referenced sites.

Follow the money? Indeed! :-)

17. Here in MI
all financial reports that have been filed are available on-line. We recently had a filing date and were able to look up our opponent's report (I too am working a state House race). The usual PAC money, very little grassroot level donations. We'll beat him with that stick. :-)
