Lack of silver bullets has caused B*sh administration's failures
To hear them talk, everything could be prevented and fixed if they only had bullets that were made out of silver. We spend $400+ billion on Defense but apparently the budget does not include silver bullets. Perhaps in the interest of the nation's future, Tiffany's will donate a couple.

Here is a partial list of things blamed on the lack of these bullets in our arsenal:

9/11
In three hours of testimony, Rice never wavered from the view that there was no "silver bullet" action that could have prevented the attacks.

Al Qaeda
But we have to do this systematically over time. (There) is no silver bullet to disbanding al Qaeda. - C. Rice (again) 3-19-2004

High gasoline prices 4-30-2006
"This is a very large problem," Josh Bolten said on "Fox News Sunday" in his first interview since taking over April 14 as Mr. Bush's top aide. "It's built up over many years — decades, in fact. It's not going to be solved in the short run by some silver bullet."

Global Warming 7/10/1997
We won't find a silver bullet to solve the problem. Luckily, climate change lends itself to flexible solutions - J. Lieberman

For gosh sakes! Somebody please melt down some silver and make some bullets!

Actually what we need now is not The Lone Ranger's silver bullets but rather Wonder Woman's Lasso of Truth.

1. Ya think that Lasso of Truth could encircle the whole BFEE and gang?
