Republicans cannot come to grips with certain realities...
First of all, they were lied to about the war in Iraq. There were no WMDs. THERE WERE NO WMDs! They can't accept that George Bush would ever lie about anything. Because he is a good Christian man, they think. They cannot accept the truth that the person they have so devotedly followed could be a liar and worse, a war criminal. They are in deep denial.

They cannot accept the fact that he has given away the store to his wealthy friends and that they will be in debt up to their eyeballs for the rest of their lives and probably, their children's lives, also.
They cannot accept the truth that the warin Iraq to give those people "democracy" was a sham from the beginning and has now turned into a disaster with a civil war looming.

Republicans have permanent blinders. They cannot see what is directly in front of their faces. They are a threat to our country and to themselves because of this blind loyalty. Their final escape is God. If he does not "rapture" them in just a few days, they will be terribly disappointed...
