Wake up Dem Leadership! (Re Blackwell in Ohio)
On a conference call last night between Election Reform groups, labor and Af Am civic leaders, it was announced that a influential pastor at an inner ring Af Am mega church in Columbus, (who hosted post '04 election events regarding suppression) has come out in support of Blackwell. I have been saying since the election that the Ohio Dem Party, as well as national leaders needed to go into the communities that were adversely effected by long lines and other disenfranchise techniques and explain why elected officials didn't stand up and fight for their votes. Strickland has already lost support with the Hispanci community over his siding w Republicans over immigration. This is a serious loss of Ohio Dem constituencies that needs to be addressed!
