OH-Studebaker files papers - special Dem primary election next
Edited on Tue Aug-15-06 06:41 PM by OzarkDem
My guess is they're busy trying to figure out who to put on the ballot. Its not an impossible district to win for Dems.

1. I wonder if they'll have that option, to replace Studebaker. DeLay
didn't.

4. I was really rooting for Studebaker. And am sorry she has fallen
on misfortune.

Also, I think you're right about that district. I'll keep fingers crossed for the blue team.

5. Me, too
it looks like they have a lot of options, but not a lot of time.

My favorite would be state senator Tom Roberts, but he's up for re-election.

6. Hi, there, Ozark Dem. Well, I'm sighing slowly, hoping the party
can select a good candidate.

It's definitely still worth fighting for.

7. Hi Crusoe!
I have hope. The Dem leaders in the Dayton area are pretty well organized. I have a feeling they'll pick someone good. They won't give it up easily.

8. In times past a lot of friends of mine were Dems in the Dayton-
Kettering area.

A good handful were affiliated with the Wasson Piano School, which may be still up and running for all I know.

We lost one of that group to the Reagan Revolution, and he's preaching hellfire and punishment in one of the area's hoot-n-holler churches. You can bet he's for Blackwell, but all the others are pulling for the straight Democratic ticket, and they'll likely back whoever's chosen to replace Studebaker.

Agree with you completely that it's still possible to take this district.
