"I see dead people. He thinks he's still running for the Senate & he lost"
So said Tweety(!) after running the latest commercial for Connecticut's third party candidate.

He introduced the commercial by saying "Here's a freebie for Joe".

I spit diet coke all over my deck!

3. Do you suppose...
anyone has actually sat Joe down and told him he lost ?

You'd think someone would actually care enough
for the old fart to give it to him straight.

it's just sad when someone doesn't know they're through.

4. Those people who think he lost are just being Partisan!
Why can't they just stop giving aide and comfort to the terrorists shut up and throw their support behind Senator For Life Lieberman?

:eyes:

5. I believe he used the word "pretending!"
The ad itself was incredible, claiming that things aren't getting done in DC because of "partisanship" -- well, that's true, but it's not because Democrats are too staunch in their opposition!

It's not like the two houses are gridlocked by different parties leading them; and it's not like Congress and the president are opposing parties!

It reminds me far too much of all the "change the tone" rhetoric Republicans ran on in 2000 (after THEY created "The TONE" by blasting Clinton in the worst terms day after day after day!). Now we're hearing Lieberman chiding Democrats, claiming he's running because there's "too much partisanship," and that's why things aren't getting done.

This would be a GREAT message, if it were coming from a Republican!!!

12. It's funny how Joe overlooks partisanship when the Repugs deal it out...
He doesn't seem to complain then.

Hey Joe, The Repugs control all three branches of government. They have clearly signaled that the don't intend to compromise on their radical conservative agenda. Why don't you ever call them on their extreme partisanship?

6. Tweety is Catholic - he knows that unless the Nuns
are playing you don't get a pass on a double dribble, get 4 outs an inning or 4 hits/taps before a "side out".

In other words, he knows Joe lost and just wants "overs".
