I Was Watching Miles O'Brien Interview Kip Hawley of DHS About TSA Tweaks.
to the new carry on restrictions. Miles was asking him 'why now/ about liquids - when we knew the treat existed well before 9/11. This guy Kip couldn't answer the question. He was talking all around it and you could almost see him start to sweat. There is no good answer to 'why now'. The only answer to that question is 'political'. Let's try the right answer: Because it is intended to strike fear in the minds of the public - because - KKKarl Rove tells us that is the way we're going to continue winning elections.

As Miles continued to ask the same question to this Kip - he would evade the answer even more. Then Miles gave up the probing.

Now I understand why the media doesn't probe anymore. It seems that these *Co spokespeople are only give one talking point answer and told to spin it. They fall apart when probed beyond maybe two questions. Therefore that is why * says he doesn't want follow-ups. That is why most of the Media stay away from follow-ups. This avoids the uncomfortable when being interviewed. It keeps *Co and his talking heads on point (Rove's point)and it keeps the real truth from the American public.

1. My first reaction to this post was....why interview these people
in the first place? But, on the other hand, it's a good idea. Now the American can see the incompetence first hand.

2. If we all turned off the TVs, there would be no audience for this lunacy!
But then people would actually have to think for themselves....read...process. Way too much to ask - it is way too much like "hard werk".
