So my own government calls me an "al-Qaida Type"
I guess since I am in favor of Lamont over Lieberman, that makes me "the enemy," according to Shotgun Dick and Lieberman himself.

I don't know about you, but I've had it with being marginalized, belittled and labeled as some kind of criminal by the cretins who are sucking on my taxpayer's wallet.

If things haven't changed by a substantial amount with the election, how am I supposed to justify paying taxes to a government that reviles me so openly? Well, I can't.

1. Yep
they are shaping the discussion and they are painting us, dems/liberals as the Terrorists...what a sham. Unfortunately, I hope the public at large won't buy into it, cause dems/libs certainly wont, it depends on how many ont he RW, and RW Moderate side believe in that...baloney...

8. Here's something worth quoting from DUer Cobalt-60:

"Since the days of Tail Gunner Joe McCarthy the Republicans have attempted to change our name.
You don't let the enemy name you."

2. Do we still have to pay taxes if we don't support the country?
Is our government taking money from terraists when we "al Qaida types" pay our taxes?

4. They'd have said it anyway. Lieb's just a convenient excuse.
That's what they've always thought of you after all. And those like you.

Of course, hopefully something can be done in response to all that..

12. Been at it since we became a country, Human nature.
It is one of those pesty things that our founders put in the Constitution that we had freedom of speech. What is the shock to me is so many people wrapped in the flag what to change all that. I think it self feeds their own fears to try and stop anyone from saying some thing they do not like or do not wish to hear. That seems to have been around for ever.

6. You make an excellent point...
Cheney/Lieberman weren't only saying that being soft on Iraq is appealing to terrorists; they were also saying that Democrats and Lamont supporters are Al-Quaeda-like creatures.

Interesting.

I do think that there is a concerted effort to objectify and create rage for--all liberals. The neocons--together with their partners in hate radio--talk nonstop about how disgusting, vile and evil liberals are.

I think this administration wants to incite white-hot-hate for liberals--so when they violate our civil rights--their fans won't care about the injustices or the crimes. Their hate will blind them to what is happening.

They have nothing, zero, zilch, to run on...so what would you do?

Play the fear card, dictate the talking points, and keep the Dem's on the defensive and never getting around to discussing the real issues...not that issues matter to most voters, just the hype, repetition and slogans and the creating of fear, fear, fear, as much as they can instill around the country...sick, revolting and real fascist republican tactics that continue to work.

Let's expose and do our best to neutralize their madness & lies, not allowing them to hold the majority.

Lots of work to be done, donations and helping with voter awareness is the only way to hopefully keep the republican owned Diebold machines from being a major factor...

Simply put, if there's a republican Secretary of State, in your state, they will absolutely steal votes to hold their majority, this is a given!

10. Running on SMEARING the VOTERS is the most shocking invention
yet.

It is, of course, backfiring.

Karma has suddenly flipped the gameboard.

11. But you haven't been marginalized
just because Lieberman says its so doesn't make it so. More and more people are waking up to the fact that Bushco, its enablers (including the MSM) have been lying to them. They are looking elsewhere for the truth. Make sure you are one of their sources.

15. What I'd like to know
do Lieberman and the Dick believe that the Republicans who voted for Dewey in '44 were Nazi types or the ones who voted for Nixon in '68 were VC types?

16. Who cares what those anti-American dipshits think?
Let's stay focused, get them out of power and into a jail, and start fixing things.

These guys are about as patriotic as my left nut.

Their scorn? I wear it as a badge of honor.
