Uh huh...WTF is going on with our media now? I'm certainly not defending this guy; anti-semites are WAY uncool in my book-but Mr. interviewer guy is attempting to defend the indefensible-the Bushitler "administration". :(

2. Yeah, Mike has an attitude that in my opinion is very
unprofessional to show it. He also knows the Iran-Iraq history and our interference in Iran's history. I wonder if tomorrow night on C-Span (they will show the entire 90 minute interview) we will see something different, it's for a different audience on C-Span.

That said Mr. A, (don't have the sp. down) really has beady eyes, scary.

Haha, Mr. A. That's a good name. I can't spell or pronounce his real name. He did have beady eyes. & it was wierd when he started talking about how vain he was.

Yeah, I'll look out for it on C-SPAN.

7. Weird about the eyes. When I watched him in the close-ups, I thought
George Walker Bush. There is something very similar in their eyes.

I hope I never hear either of them say that they looked into each others' eyes.

8. Wallace was incredulous that a politician wouldn't give him a straight
answer. Evidently, Bush has been very forthcoming the past 5-6 years. I'd love to see what Wallace was doing during a Presidential debate where the moderator keeps asking the candidate to answer yes or no. Answer yes or no. Come on now, answer yes or no. It's a friggin' yes or no question!

9. Just finished. President Ahmadinejad wiped the floor with Wallace.
It was quite entertaining, all in all, although Mike Wallace's supercilious posturing and condescension was really cringe inducing. And he was like a robot spewing out conventional wisdom and neocon talking points nonstop.

Wallace was absolutely pre-programmed, he was utterly incapable of actually *listening* to anything Ahmadinejad had to say, much less actually cogitate and *respond* to it. What irritated me the most was his Western Civilization Superiority schtick -- humoring the lesser being, but never for a moment deigning to consider that this "barbarian" might just be as smart or smarter than him. (and I vote, smarter) Anyway, I though it was disgusting.

Mike Wallace is a farce, a caricature of a persona. He's less real than even Steven Colbert, because we're expected to take him seriously.

A skillful interviewer would have engaged and debated, not just shot out one pre-scripted talking point after another. Ahmadinejad came off to me as someone with a nimble intellect and a truly reality-based worldview.

There's no reason on earth that a sane American leader couldn't normalize relations with Iran -- to every one in the world's benefit. Unfortunately, we have no sane people in power here. Only madmen who want to bomb the whole world into a design of their making.

If our country goes to war in Iran, we are absolutely lost. We will have crossed fully over to the dark side and there will be no redemption for any of us.

10. I don't know which I liked less
Ahmanadinejad's evasive answers or Wallace's self promoting and otherwise pointless attempts to pressure Ahmadinejad.
