Pataki: GOP has a better approach to "protecting us." WHAT approach??
"We just saw two days ago the fact that terrorists are still out there actively plotting and trying to kill thousands of people and attack us again," Pataki said. "I think the American people know that the Republicans have a better approach to protecting us."

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060813/ap_on_el_st_lo/pataki_iowa

What approach does he mean?

Does he mean attacking countries that didn't attack us?
Or leaving the ports, chem/nuke facilities and railways unprotected?
Maybe he means guarding the border with Mexico, nevermind the one with Canada?
Perhaps he's referring to their great success in finding the anthrax killer and bin Laden?
Or maybe borrowing from our grandchildren to ensure Halliburton gets nice fat contracts in Iraq is "protecting us?"
How about leaving loose Soviet nukes lying around, and failing to guard munitions during the Iraq invasion?
Or perhaps pissing off the rest of the world and motivating recruitments for anti-US terrorist organizations is his idea of "protecting us?"

11. Oh yes the GOP protected US on Sept 11, 2001?
No the GOP did not protect us on Sept 11, 2001 when 2750 people died.

The GOP has attempted to shift the blame from their weakness on terrorism, national defense and national security for 5 years.

6. Hello
It is time they spent some on the middle states. We like to live too. :pals: Look at what happened with Katrina. The lack of a plan, the inability to communicate with other states with emergency equipment. They couldn't even use the emergency equipment to call for police if they were firemen or call for medical help. Nothing was planned out.

It would have been the same if it had been a bomb.

It is getting strange how much money is spent on everything and then we find it is cut or done on the cheap. What are they spending money on?:
