Who/What is Glenn Beck?

I rarely watch tv news channels but I tuned into CNN today and there is some bizzaro hard right insane person called Glenn Beck on...


He makes the other war mongers on tv look like doves...what in the world is this??!!! Is it satire?

3. I thought Limbaugh was satire the first time I heard him.

It took me close to an hour to realize he was serious.

I listened to Beck once on the radio. He was reading some intelligent speech on civil rights, and his method of undermining the content of the speech was by imitating a Brer Fox voice--spoofed southern black accent. I've never listened to him again, and I wrote the station in San Antonio who was playing him, assuming he was a local host. The producer wrote back in a snide tone that he would mention my criticism to Glenn when he saw him next. So I've never listened to 1200 AM in San Antonio again, either.

I think his show is BORING as Hell, and I sent in one of the forms CNN provides to report if you like it or not.

No clue if it does any good or not, but if they get enough of them.. maybe they'll boot his ass?

I still can't figure out why CNN canned Aaron Brown? He wasn't flashy.. just kinda laid back.. But he was a pretty cool guy.

I always loved when he did the "tomorrow's headlines" segment where he showed the front pages of whatever newspapers across the nation were able to fax their next day's front pages into him.

Why Glenn Beck though?!?!

11. I've only seen it once

He was rippin' into some Orthodox rabbi who doesn't support Israel's policies. Beck came within inches of tellin' him he wasn't a real Jew. Made me sick. Won't watch again.

12. I was flipping channels today..

I usually quickly click past his show, but decided to stop and listen for a minute or two just out of curiosity. So while this was going on my 13-year-old daughter was on the computer in the same room playing a game and half listening at the same time. She doesn't know who he is or anything about his background.

Next thing I hear her say in this completely matter of fact tone, "Aren't you gonna turn that show off? He's CRAZY!"
