Hope
I find it strange to be pessimistic right now. The biggest Anti-War campaign in the country was won by the guy who was actually anti-war. The Democratic leaders ran over to support him right away. The Media has started to print more and more stories about how Bush has just done a terrible job. The British have caught a bunch of bad guys without having to go in guns blazing giving our own guys (the ones who are left in the security apperatus anyway) a good guide on how to just sit back and watch before swooping up the suspects.

Democrats are polling way higher then the Republicans for the congressional races, we have a six point plan to put into place when we take over the House and probably the Senate and every other week the regular media finds out about another bad thing the Republicans have done. Plus that makes Bush into a lame duck so he cannot do much more harm. Even if he refuses to enforce the laws we pass, we still will have gotten them on the books.

I just cannot be pessimistic. I was a Dean supporter so I know it can change in an instant but I do feel hope after a very long time.

2. thank you for your perspective.
We do need to stop panicking every time the Repubs play the terror card.

But this time, the Dems must stand up and fight back just as hard, using this as an opportunity to show just how terrible a job Bush has done in fighting terrorism.

We should pull a Rove here, attack the Repubs on their perceived greatest strength.

5. If the Republicans are so great on Terra, then how come we still
are finding plots? Seems to me that if their strategy was working, there would be no more terra. Therefore the Republicans have failed.

3. You Know The Game Plan
Republicans will play the terror card and the media will act like the Rove-ass-kissers they are.

So either spend your time talking to people. Canvassing, phoning, getting out the vote.

Or, spend all your day whining and crying.

Really, we really don't need all these, do you believe the dems did this, and do you believe the media said that.

Has everyone been asleep for the past five years.

YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT WILL HAPPEN.
