In the current issue of Popular Mechanics, there is an introduction written by Arizona Senator John McCain for a book that magazine is publishing. The book is about the top 20 September 11th conspiracies, and uses evidence and analysis by experts in the various related fields to debunk them.
The fourth paragraph in the introduction:
"As Americans, we acted swiftly. We liberated Afghanistan from the murderous rule of the Taliban, our attackers' proud hosts. We chased Al Qaeda around the globe. We revamped our homeland security, reorganized our intelligence community, and advocated reform in calcified societies."
Nowhere in this paragraph, or any other in McCain introduction, is Iraq or Saddam Hussein mentioned. Afghanistan, yes. Al-Qaeda, yes. Taliban, yes. Osama Bin Laden, yes. But of Iraq or Saddam Hussein there is nary a whisper.
Is this enough for the millions of people out there who still think Saddam was aiding Osama, that Iraq actively participated in the attacks?
