Aren't Cubans kinda 60/40 Republicans or something. I read somewhere that the younger ones leaned more towards the Democratic party, while most of the elders were clinging to the dream that the U.S. would one day invade Cuba, rid it of Castro, and hand each and everyone of them back the assets their families used to have prior to communism.

He has played many Bush fundraisers -- both for George AND Jeb.

Mant Cubans are Republicans. It has to do with those seeking to get away from Cuba being Rightists who are against Castro who is Leftist. Rightist = Conservative, so they are a natural fit for the Republican Party. A recent poll I read had them at between 70%-30% Republican.
