Help protest Mondavi family's wine tasting

Join fired Charles Krug-Mondavi workers and their families as they protest in front of the Mondavi family’s 55th annual "Tastings on the Lawn" at Napa Valley’s Charles Krug Winery. The annual event will take place this Saturday, August 12, from 2 pm to 5 pm at the winery, 2800 Main St. in St. Helena (map).

Out of town or can't attend? Don’t worry. You still can help the workers by joining their protest virtually by e-mailing Mondavi family event coordinators.

2. I stopped drinking Mondavi when I found out that they were
one of the 18 wealthy families that were trying to remove the estate tax. Used to love their wines, only thing we had on our table growing up in my family.

They lost me forever.

3. I'm old enough to remember the boycott
My mom honored it and over the years I was prouder and prouder of her.

4. Honor that boycott
but there is another angle- just who is replacing Mondavi's workers? Worked from that way (immigration) the backlash against Mondavi could be huge.
