Who said this??
Edited on Fri Aug-11-06 07:26 AM by welshTerrier2
here's a pretty good position for Democrats to start hammering ... the question is who said it originally and when did it get said?

"Never has so much military and economic and diplomatic power been used so ineffectively, and if after all of this time, and all of this sacrifice, and all of this support, there is still no end in sight, then I say the time has come for the American people to turn to new leadership not tied to the mistakes and policies of the past."

no Googling please and if you already know the answer, please do NOT post it here ... this thread is for guessers only ...

6. Tricky Dick...
Why ask a question if you don't want people to post the answer? Are we supposed to use mental telepathy?

8. The quote made a good soundbite, but a poor historical reference....
...since he obviously failed miserably to live up to his own words. Let alone his Quaker upbringing.
