2. I'm getting excited now
We just might pull this off. Three congressional incumbents lost the other day, that signals that people aren't as pro-incumbent as they used to be.

4. If Faux is reporting it, it's a ruse. We need to work even harder!!
Phone calls, door knocks, lit drops, the rest...

I saw a thread last week with Luntz saying the same thing. This seems wayyy too coordinated between RW liars to be for real.

Don't believe it!! Volunteer TODAY!!

8. Yes, but we are only 5 points ahead of repugs on the terrorism issue
as of today.....and afterall, they are still trying to scare people and make it the main issue as in 2004!

Rove doesn't seem to have any new tricks to play......

14. That's the issue the republicans plan to pound down Americans throat..
Edited on Thu Aug-10-06 10:23 PM by LaPera
as in 2002, 2004 and in 2006...expect a lot more of these terrorist phony attacks and Bush our savior protecting us and the trashing of anyone who disagrees with the republicans...as so far left who hate America and love the terrorist...

Rove will be diabolical, wicked, lying, smearing and distorting like you would never believed, using that powerful television, talk radio, media republican owned media machine to lie they don't give a fuck as long as the results get them wins and they distort and steal to keep the houses...after that we can shout all we like...but it'll be too late...

We have to fight hard and attack before they do, set the pace and dialogue or they will inch out a close victory.

10. Watch for the "intolerant far left liberals are purgin the party"
talking points to come out now on the part of the republicans and the media.

I've already seen two or more articles in papers trying to explain why Lieberman's loss will hurt the party's chances because its indicative of extremists taking over. Apparently, Lamont is now a McGovernite or whatever the fuck word they'll call us from now on.

11. Republicans always tell us this shit right before the elections...they
Edited on Thu Aug-10-06 10:14 PM by LaPera
said Arnold was at thirty two percent three month's ago...people here on DU were laughing and insisting Arnold was toast, now Arnold has a three point lead...I can name time after time BushCo/Rove have done this...They love getting Dem's over confident, sure they are going to take back the house...ignoring the facts of republican owned Diebold electronic voting machines in place at precinct across the county where republicans will need them...as 80% of the US uses electronic voting machines...Just watch how many people will whoop it up and say the republicans are going down...I heard this same shit about Bush here a hundred times...low poll numbers in 2004, behind, Kerry pulling away...The republicans love fucking with us...they are vindictive fuckers, (and it's good strategy) nothing gives them more pleasure except money and killing...

Watch this if you think I'm full of shit...it's a piece of cake to change these machines and we just take the results as fact and written in stone...no way to prove or disprove the results...

THE LAST THING THE REPULICANS WANT IS US DOING is TALKING AND RASING MORE SHIT ABOUT THESE MACHINES RIGHT BEFORE ELECTIONS...JUST LET THE DEM'S THINK THEY ARE WAY AHEAD ARE GOING TO WIN AND THE DIEDOLD MACHINES WON'T EVEN COME INTO PLAY...WELL WATCH THIS...

Democrats (63 percent) and independents (51 percent) are much more likely than Republicans (22 percent) to say they would vote for the challenger.

If the election were held today, 48 percent of Americans say they would vote for the Democratic candidate in their congressional district and 30 percent for the Republican candidate. This 18-percentage point edge is up from an 8-point advantage in mid-July and a 13-point lead in June.

16. I don't know about u but 22% of the populace still unsure is disturbing
Jeez... I can't believe that 22% of the American public is

undecided at this point. The difference between the Repubs and

Dems is SO CLEAR, the two sides are SO polarized that it seems

any rational human being would be compelled to take a stand and

choose a side.

I just can't wrap my mind around anyone who is still fence sitting...
