I'm thinking that if *CO continued to go after Bin Laden and caught him instead of going off to Iraq - that a lot of what we are seeing today could have been avoided.

But then - if *CO only followed up on the Aug 6th PDB. or if *CO wouldn't have adopted the 'anything but clinton' policy when they took over in 2000.

Good news for Bush! Bush's toadsuck Lieberman loses his primary? Excellent for Bush, as it shows Democrats are out of touch! Low poll numbers? Another Bush triumph as there's nowhere to go but up!

The GOP sycophants and traitors fan out in force to all the programs and repeat this patent nonsense, and the media -- which couldn't analyze its way out of a wet paper bag -- just nods and repeats it. Only a couple of times have I seen anyone raise the question of what, given whatever catastrophic event just happened, would constitute bad news for the Bush administration?
