DSCC has updated it's candidate page and check out Ned's bio!!

They endorsed Lamont earlier in the morning but a few comments were made that Lieberman was still listed as the candidate in the Connecticut section.

Well it's officially switched to Lamont. Lieberman; however, is still listed as the current senator but if you check out MD or MN page you'll see that both the candidate and the current senator is listed.

Edit note: I changed the title because THIS is pretty hardcore stuff on the DSCC page. Who wrote this the Lamont folks or someone at the DSCC

Ned is running because he loves his country and is deeply concerned about its current direction. Like most Connecticut Democrats, and most Americans, he is tired of being represented by a senator who is not willing to stand up to the President—on the war and on the rest of his wrong headed judicial, fiscal, and environmental policies.

3. Fair enough.
Too bad Schumer had to keep us all hanging until after the primary on whether the Committee would, indeed support the winner. That was bad form, Chuck.

4. I don't think there was every any doubt on that.
And at least if Lieberman happens to win the general election then the DSCC can come back and say that they did try to help him in the primary but had to go with the policy of supporting the dem candidate in the general election.

8. Well, they made the right decision in the end.
Thats enough for now, we need unity on this. Republicans are in an awful shape, and we don't need this Lieberman independent bid sucking the air out of the room. So far I have been very happy with the response of the Party to the primary. The people have spoken, and apparently they have listened.

5. Let's now send the DSCC some thank-yous for seeing the light
and listening to us.

Don't just give them vinegar when you're unhappy with them; give them honey when they do something right.

11. DSCC will list the senators that align with them
Jeffords is listed on the site and they have campaign stuff for Bernie Sanders. Sanders is an independant but if I'm correct there is no democrat running against him which means we could support Sanders

12. That's correct; Sanders is getting high-level Democratic support
as there is no Democratic candidate running against him. There are a few fringe guys and one Republican in sheep's clothing who claims to want to run as a Democrat, but Howard Dean, Harry Reid, and Chuck Schumer are all backing Sanders. The only open question at the moment is who will emerge victorious from the Republican primary in September.

Bernie Sanders is an Independent who caucuses with the Democrats in the House and is counted as a Democrat for the purpose of committee assignments, the same as Jeffords (for the time being) in the Senate.
