Does anyone have information about just how much money LIEberman gets from the AIPAC? Of course the 'reported' figures will be within the 'legal limits', but the real total would have to represent some really, really big numbers. Why else would the prick insist on running as an independent? I mean if it's just a job he wanted he could fold his tent and wait for his 'spit-swappin' buddy geedubya to offer him one in his administration (last throes or no) - say rummy's seat after he slinks away to his 'retreat' at Mt. Misery on the Eastern Shore. No, LIEman's got too much to lose if he's no longer at the US Senate Pay Grade - those guys must pay really top dollar for those...then again you'd think that a Secretary of Defense job title would mean even more - but until he can get some guarantees from the rovemeister about just when he - LIEman - could expect to start getting those big bucks, he'll probably keep up the charade of running for the Senate. After all, surely those guys have negotiated through their collective bargaining with AIPAC that while they're in an active campaign the direct deposits just keep on keeping on...the BASTARDS.

Had no idea that Erma ever said that. It's totally true (and she'd be appalled at how much worse it's getting so quickly) and makes me long for more examples like that instead of the ones we have now (Condi? Paris Hilton? OMG!). Not being a parent of a 10 year old girl, I'm not sure if Pink is appropriate video material for your daughter, but have you seen her video "Stupid Girls"? She's done a nice job of ridiculing the girls must be stupid, pretty, fake to be happy theme which we've all endured. Wow, beyond that, I'm at a loss for role models for 10 year old girls. Buffy, the Vampire Slayer? The women of Code Pink? Again, I'm not a parent so my knowledge of "pop culture" for "kids" is limited.

Glad you're all enjoying CTforLieberman.com. The response has been much greater than I ever could have imagined. Frankly, I never thought Joe would really go through with this independent run, but domains are cheap and I couldn't resist.
